Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox survived off the stipend of a student, and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox was able to make a change in her profession following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. The main part of her role was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. The band she was in, was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they created their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. After that, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva which came out in 1992. Commercially and critically it was a huge success. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera, a collection four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. is an accompanying piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You Go... It is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954, in Scotland, is a charitable philanthropist and an activist in the political arena. She also sings. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992 by releasing the album Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa a studio album that was released in 1995 features songs that are re-imagined from her best-loved songs, including No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Her six studio solo albums and her compilation album have a lot of tracks.
